Meet Meg
Take Trend began with Meg, a love of timeless fashion, and a wardrobe of beautiful pieces she couldn’t quite part with. Freshly navigating postpartum life herself, she knew how personal event dressing could feel, especially when your body, style or confidence is shifting.
Now, from her Bunbury studio, Meg helps women find designer garments that feel flattering, comfortable and true to them. With gentle styling guidance, honest reassurance and a carefully curated collection in sizes 6–16, she makes the try-on experience feel calm, supportive and completely pressure-free.
Why Take Trend began
Take Trend started during a season of change.
While adjusting to postpartum life, founder Megan was also adjusting to a body that felt different and a wardrobe that no longer worked in quite the same way.
She had always loved fashion and had built a collection of high-quality boutique and designer dresses that were simply too lovely to part with.
At the same time, finding special eventwear in the South West was not always easy. The options were limited, and ordering online often felt like expensive guesswork. A garment could look perfect on screen and arrive looking, fitting or feeling completely wrong.
So Megan began sharing her wardrobe.
What started as a maternity-leave side project became Take Trend, a local studio where women could access beautiful designer pieces, try them on in person and hire them for a fraction of the retail price.

02 Choose your dress
Try on available garments, ask questions and get honest, thoughtful styling guidance without pressure.
Secure your chosen garment by paying the hire fee and bond.
03 Wear & return
Collect locally or receive your garment by express post. After your event, return it to the Take Trend drop point or use the prepaid postal satchel.
Cleaning is taken care of, because you have better things to do.

You can also DM to book a studio try-on appointment.

You may try on as many available garments as your appointment time allows.
Please leave 5–10 minutes at the end of your session to finalise your hire if you find your dress.

Standard try-on appointments are 30 minutes.
Express try-on appointments are 15 minutes.

Yes. You are welcome to bring one friend for support.
When both of you would like to try on garments, please book a 30 minute styling appointment.

Yes, provided they are comfortable staying with you in the studio.
Take Trend is unable to provide childcare or supervision during your appointment.

Take Trend does not provide cash refunds.
A 50 per cent credit may be available when a cancellation is made more than two weeks before the event. Cancellations made within two weeks of the event do not receive a credit.
The bond is returned in full when a booking is cancelled.

Changes requested more than two weeks before the event may be arranged, subject to garment availability and any price difference.
Changes requested within two weeks of the event require a new hire booking and full payment.

Please avoid attending with freshly applied tan.
Tan should be washed off, applied more than 24 hours before your appointment and no longer at risk of transferring onto garments.

The current collection includes garments in sizes 6–16.
Because sizing varies between designers, the labelled size is only part of the picture. Many garments are adjustable or suit a range of body shapes.
A studio try-on is the best way to check fit.

Yes. A refundable bond is charged in addition to the hire fee.
The amount is based on the retail value of the garment. It is released after the garment has been returned, assessed and cleaned, provided no damage or additional cleaning is required.

Professional cleaning is handled by Take Trend after the garment is returned.
Please do not attempt to wash, spot-clean or dry-clean the garment yourself.

Yes. Selected garments can be express posted Australia-wide.
Postal hires include a prepaid return satchel.

Garments can generally be collected 1–2 days before your event.
The usual hire period is four days, including the collection day.

Local hires are generally due back at the Take Trend drop point by 10 am on the Monday following your event, unless another arrangement has been confirmed.

Please take a photo and contact Take Trend before returning the garment.
Where repairs or additional cleaning are needed, the bond may be used to cover the cost.
When a garment is lost, not returned or damaged beyond repair, the replacement value may be charged.
